With a record crowd of over 248,000 for the 5 days of the Avalon Airshow, we were certainly run off our feet with the Recovery Curios Stand jammed packed with aviation enthusiasts.
From RAAF pilots and personnel, overseas military display teams, aviation museum curators, aircraft restorers, civilian and commercial pilots, aviation veterans to flying enthusiasts both young and old - we met them all and made some great new friends.
With a primary focus on the latest in aeronautical technology and jet aircraft, many Airshow visitors were quite excited to get a real blast from the past as they wandered through our rather eclectic and unique range of original WWII aircraft instrumentation and artefacts, with many heading home at the end of the day with massive grins and bulky Recovery Curios packages under their arms.
For everyone who dropped in to say hello, we really do thank you for giving us such a warm and enthusiastic welcome. We'll be back in 2025!
