Installed on the right hand side of the Douglas A-20 Havoc's instrument panel, just above the Carburetor Temp Gauges and below the dual RPM Gauges, this rare A-20 Havoc Fuel Pressure Gauge is one of two that would monitor the fuel flow of the Havoc's twin 1,700 hp (1,300 kW) turbo-supercharged, R-2600-7 Wright engines.
Manufactured by the Electric Auto-Lite Co this 1AN 5771-1, Fuel Pressure Gauge comes complete with Manufacture's plate and is dated 1943.
Single cockpit indicators for twin engined aircraft such as the Douglas A-20 Havoc such as the 1AN 5771-1 were gradually updated to duel readout indicators (AN5772-1) toward the latter part of the war resulting in an eclectic mix of instrumentation across many Allied aircraft by wars end.
