Honeywell A-40 Fuel Quantity Guage installed in the McDonnell Douglas A-4G Skyhawk

The Honeywell A-40 Fuel Quantity Guage
was installed in the McDonnell Douglas A-4G Skyhawk variant of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft developed for the Royal Australian Navy.

Located at the bottom right of the aircraft's main instrument panel the A4-G Fuel Gauge carries the ID JG702 A-40 and the serial No: AIR 460 on the rear makers plate.

Both case and glass are in good condition although it appears the needle has been repaired and glued in position.

* Note that this A4G Skyhawkr comes with the standard detailed, but smaller 1/72 scale. Click on the 'Model Upgrade' option at the top of this page for the larger super detailed 1/48 scale or Ultra detailed 1/32 scale.

The 1/72 and 1/48 scale, hand-built and airbrushed plastic models are available with a choice of two Squadron markings and camouflage as well as either in full flight mode with canopy open or closed, or landed mode with flaps and wheels down and canopy open or closed.
