Honeywell A-40 Fuel Quantity Guage installed in the McDonnell Douglas A-4G Skyhawk

The Honeywell A-40 Fuel Quantity Guage
was installed in the McDonnell Douglas A-4G Skyhawk variant of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft developed for the Royal Australian Navy.

Located at the bottom right of the aircraft's main instrument panel the A4-G Fuel Gauge carries the ID JG702 A-40 and the serial No: AIR 460 on the rear makers plate.

Both case and glass are in good condition although it appears the needle has been repaired and glued in position.

This Douglas A4G Skyhawk Instrument comes complete with detailed Scale Model, Mango Wood Stand & Plaque plus Printed Fact Sheet featuring photo of instrument in aircraft cockpit.
