Installed at the top of the  P-47 Republic Thunderbolt's upper engine instrument panel just above the Turbo RPM Gauge, this rare P-47 Republic Thunderbolt Carburetor Temperature Gauge is a real collectors item of this iconic high-altitude bomber escort and ground-attack fighter.

While eventually relinquishing its bomber escort role to the P-51 Mustang, the P-47 Thunderbolt distinguished itself as a much feared ground attack fighter/bomber when the Allies took the fight back to continental Europe.

Manufactured by Weston Electric Inst Corp this 115412 T-52H, Carburetor Temperature Gauge comes complete with Manufacture's plate and would make a fantastic collectable with its detailed P-47 Thunderbolt 1/72 or 1/48 scale model, atop its 100yr old Mango Wood stand.
