De Havilland Vampire G6A/1749 Cabin Air Pressure Gauge

The De Havilland Vampire pilot used the aircraft's Cabin Air Pressure gauge to measure and monitor the difference between inside and outside air pressure. By ensuring the cockpit pressure 'Altitude' stayed below 8,000ft he could avoid any risk of hypoxia, altitude sickness, decompression sickness or barotrauma.

Installed at the bottom right of the Vampire’s main flying panel, adjacent to the Oxygen Contents gauge, this De Havilland Vampire Recovery Curios Collectable comes mounted in its 100yr old Mango Wood display stand with engraved plaque, together with a highly detailed 1/72 or larger 1/48 scale custom built model of this iconic jet fighter, perched atop its removable magnetic arm.

A full colour laminated Fact Sheet with cockpit photos and details on the instrument ,completes this fantastic aviation gift.
