Vintage Javanese Hand-Carved Rustic Frangipani/Star Wall Panel

With its traditional curved, flowing lines across the top and counterbalanced with two repetitive rows of rustic frangipani flowers, this vintage hand-carved teak panel was once part of an old Javanese house and formed part of its entrance decorative trim.

Still retaining some of its original, once vibrant colours and now worn with age, its not difficult to image the rich traditional Indonesian festive colours it once wore.

This beautiful antique panel is approx. 30 - 60yrs old and would make a beautiful wall centre piece, headboard or feature display.

At 3kg, this beautiful teak panel is approx. 125cm long, 28cm high and  3cm thick   

Original hand-carved, house timber panels like these are becoming extremely rare and are absolute head-turners in an age of mass reproductions and cheap machined copies.
